Details
The “Peace & Love” logo was first designed in 1958 by Gerald Hotom for the british nuclear disarmament movement, during an event organised to protest against a nuclear weapon factory. The symbol consists in the superimposition of the flag semaphore for the characters “N” and “D”, taken to stand for “Nuclear Disarmament”.
